Purpose:
The Good Guy – Bad Guy Safety Posters are designed as a fun way to reinforce the  fact that you cannot always tell who the bad guys are by the way they look.  Unless taught otherwise children think that all bad guys look like ‘bad guys'.  These Posters are a great visual effect for parents as well.  Many parents have the same misconception as their children on what constitutes a “bad guy”,  “pedophile” or “predator”.
Method: Without letting the audience see the posters, the instructor calls 6 to 8 adults or older children to the front. Place the simple costume on each personal as suggested on the Costume Ideas card. The posters are held by the stick by the individuals facing the audience.  Remind those holding the posters to hold the picture towards themselves and not to let anyone see what picture they are holding.

Once in place the audience then must guess who are the bad guys and who are the good guys.

Result:  The  end result is that the children or adults begin to realize that “bad guys” seldom look like bad guys, because the only way they can access their victims is to blend in with everyone else, and th
at their behavior is the only way to determine whether their motives are good or bad.
