The Who Can You Trust ? Poster Game works well with any age group above the age of 12 years old, including adults.

Explain that we all tend to judge the honesty and integrity of people by how the look and dress. Most teen-agers and adults believe that a predator is someone of low income, homeless, a drifter or someone who visually appears to be scary, a hoodlum type, or in some way less than an upstanding citizen.

The goal of this exercise is to educate the participant(s) to the reality that most people who prey on children and teen-agers, work hard to appear to be credible, trustworthy and upstanding members of any community.

Sexual predators often work as teachers, ministers, coaches, youth group leaders, daycare providers, foster parents, scout leaders, and babysitters, just to name the most common. In fact, they will get into any position that provides them close contact with children and teen-agers. There are also those who are family members, like brothers, sisters, aunts or uncles, even moms, dads and grandparents. Another group are those who live around you, like neighbors or the parents of your teen-ager’s friends.
