Listen and Talk to Your Children |
| Every day, talk to your
child, listen and observe their feelings and activities. Encourage them to share their concerns or problems. Explain their body belongs to them and they have the right to say no to anyone that might try to touch them. Tell your child some adults try to hurt children and make them do things they do not feel comfortable doing. Often, these grownups call what they're doing a secret between themselves and the child. Explain some adults threaten children by saying their parents may be hurt or killed if the child ever shares the secret. Emphasize an adult who does something like this IS doing something wrong. Tell your child that adults whom they know, trust and love, or someone who might be in a position of authority (i.e., babysitter, uncle, teacher or even a policeman) might try to do something like this. Try not to scare your children, and emphasize the vast majority of grownups never do this and most adults are deeply concerned about protecting children. |

A Gift That Gives
for a Lifetime
|
|
| There are wars to be won battle by
battle against those who would exploit our beautiful children. Please help us to wage that war by funding our educational programs for children throughout your community. Your donations can be earmarked for a specific youth group, school, church or community. Thank you for caring enough to make a difference. Teaching a child how to recognize the lures that predators use is as good as giving them an immunization shot. Once learned and practiced the child becomes immune to the viscous techniques of pedophiles and other predators that would attempt to harm them. Thank you for your generosity on behalf of children everywhere. |
