April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. While as a nation we use this time to focus on this issue it's important to remember that children are being abused every minute of every day of every year. Lets spread awareness of this life threatening crime against children during the month of April, but also every month of the year.

Please remember that when thinking and speaking about child abuse, that there are several forms of abusive behaviors:    Physical, Mental, Psychological, Emotional and Sexual.

Often sexual abuse is overlooked when thinking about child abuse. Sadly it is the one form of abuse where all other forms are incorporated to gain and maintain control of the victim.

No form of abuse is acceptable, and all are abominable in the eyes of responsible caring people. We support all efforts to stop all forms of child abuse. While our mission centers around child sexual abuse prevention, we encourage all national, state and local efforts to banish these attacks against our children, wherever they are found to exist.
