STEP IV. INTERVENTION

My child is missing…what do I do now?
From Home or School

Don’t Panic

Pull out the information on your children’s friends and favorite places.

Call the Police .

Start calling and checking on all the places on your recorded data sheets.

Eliminate as many dead ends as possible before the police arrive.

From a Public Place
(i.e.: a mall or store)

Call security…they will usually close off all exits until the child is found.

Pull out your photo ID and show it to everyone in the immediate area.
